Why are we expected to be a different version of ourselves when we lead? Dana D'Orazio (https://www.linkedin.com/company/good-hustle), the founder of the Good Hustle, comes on the show to talk about bridging the gap between mindfulness and leadership.

She debunks the stigma of self-improvement that is an essential key to great leadership which is not always seen as compatible or necessary for business. We discuss the symptoms of this type of development being needed showing up as burn-out, being unable to prioritize, and detachment from the larger picture.

Dana shares her experiences coaching and encouraging leaders to give themselves the permission and space to focus on what they need, so they can be there for others. Dana is a Coach, Leadership Development Instructor, certified Yoga instructor, and credentialed Meditation teacher through Georgetown University and UC Berkley.

She has spent over 15 years piloting, disrupting, meditating, designing, teaching, holding space, strategizing, and scaling work across the U.S., and globally. The Good Hustle (http://www.goodhustle.org/) is the result of her passion to help people thrive by honoring the hustle (strategic, intentional work) and the go easy (finding balance and taking care).
